Since 2008 our experienced doctors nurses and support staff have provided expert care to support our community.Responsibilities:The Surgery RN is responsible for providing Perioperative nursing care of all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direct and indirect implementation of the patients plan of care in the Operating Room (OR). May have additional responsibilities as designated by the director, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects. The operating room nurse will display positive support for the values and mission of St. Lukes Health organization.Qualifications:Associates Degree Nursing requiredAt least one (1) year of recent acute care experience requiredScrub Experience requiredExperience working in an OR preferredRegistered Nurse the state of Texas (RN:TX)BLS requiredACLS required
