Description

The IT Business Relationship Manager serves as a strategic liaison between the IT department and various business units within Verily. The primary goal of this role is to align IT solutions, strategies, and initiatives with the overall business objectives of Verily. The IT Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor, providing technology expertise and insights to help drive business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Functional focus: IT Support Services including HelpDesk, End User Compute Devices, Cloud Infrastructure and Workspace management.

ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management:

Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, serving as their primary contact for IT needs and fostering collaboration between IT and business teams.Intake and Prioritization:

Manage incoming business requirements, working closely with engineering and project management to refine them, optimize customer experience, and prioritize delivery based on business impact.Drive Customer Success:

Proactively engage with business partners to understand their technology needs, translating them into clear requirements and developing business cases to justify IT investments.Partner with Engineering for Planning and Execution:

Lead or participate in IT projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business goals, timely delivery, and smooth implementation of new technologies.Technology Advisory and Strategy:

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, provide expert guidance to business partners, and develop IT strategies that align with the broader organizational strategy, while continuously measuring and improving IT performance.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors in Information Technology Engineering, Computer Science or Business and 10+ years experience in information technology leadership positions, and/or product/program management.8+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives and 5+ years experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects based on organizational objectives.Demonstrated track record of brokering and/or facilitating technology solutions to solve business problems (globally, or across multiple divisions or regions within a single company).A track record of working collaboratively and productively with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications

MBA in Information Technology Engineering, Computer Science or Business.Experience working in the health care, life sciences, medical devices, or biotech industries.Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the business systems industry such as SFDC, Workday, Workspace, JIRA, Slack, etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
