Abatix is looking for a new Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse team member is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions including properly preparing bills of lading, pulling inventory, and checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. The new team member should ensure Abatix is represented in a positive manner, be aligned with and support the overall goals and objectives of the entire company and actively provide input and support.
Day shift | Monday - Friday | $23 - $25/hour
Job Description:
Receive and pick orders for customersSafely operate a forklift and other material handling equipmentCount stock items and record data into computer systemAssist customers with loading merchandisePick and pack ordersStore items in an orderly and accessible mannerClean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulationsDetermine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover and facilityOther job duties as neededJob Requirements

You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs2+ years of warehouse experience in a wireless environmentAbility to use FedEx and UPS online systemsA strong work ethic and a high level of professionalismWillingness to be a team player and take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentDependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skillsAbility to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles (if necessary)Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may requireBenefits of the Abatix family
