Windows Server Management Team (WSMT)/System Administrator for Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ.
A Secret clearance is required or US citizenship with the ability to obtain and interim Secret.
Essential Job Duties:
Be a self-motivated system administrator to provide enterprise server support for the Army in a fast paced and demanding environmentBuild and configure Windows-based systems in support of highly visible mission areasProactively and efficiently administer servers using enterprise toolsets such as SCCM, SCOM, etc.Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issuesEnsure server configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulationsDocument technical troubleshooting effortsParticipate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours supportMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Secret clearance or ability to obtain interimHS + 2 years of experience, AA/AS, or BA/BS, to include up to one year of hands-on Windows system administrationMust have Security+ CE certification prior to hireMust acquire one Microsoft certification (70-697, 70-698, MD-100, MD-101, 70-410, 70-411, 70-412, or higher) within 180 days of hireExperience with Server 2012 R2 administrationExperience with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) systemsKnowledge of client/server hardware and software configurationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issuesAbility to research and develop creative solutions to unique problemsKnowledge of networking conceptsAbility to create and/or modify scripts (batch, PowerShell)Ability to document technical troubleshooting effortsProficiency with Windows Active Directory servicesFamiliarity with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)Familiarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Knowledge of DISA STIGs and IAVAsBe able to effectively communicate with team members and customersWork independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlinesWilling to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessaryWORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is normal for office setting
