Job Description:

The ideal candidate will support Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport NUWCDIVNPT Electromagnetic Systems Department (Code 34) with Project Management Services, Financial Management Services, Business Process Assessments, and Preparation of Presentation Materials. Recognized as an expert in the field, leads development and implementation of key technologies for the organization.

Duties will include:

Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. Define the nature and extent of problems.

Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule or expenditures.

Interview managers and employees while observing their operations.

Develop solutions to problems. In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.

Often speaks for the organization to internal/external customers and works on long-range programs and objectives.

Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments, and contributes to the development of new ideas and principles. May contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in area of expertise.

May play a role in overall functional strategic planning.

Prepare and solve mathematical models.

Help implement suggestions made.

Experience Requirements:

Mandatory: 7-10 years of experience or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated experience in project management for engineering and technical programs. Demonstrated proficiency with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), Tableau, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio.

Mandatory: Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

PMP, Project Management Institute, Masters in Business and Administration (PMI-MBA) certification

Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) (or equivalent) certification

Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Business (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field)
