This role is integral to the financial health and growth of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, managing the accounting team, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior management to guide and direct the overall financial plans of the company.Responsibilities:1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.2. Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, providing insightful information to senior management to aid in decision-making.4. Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs and strategic initiatives.5. Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are in place and operating effectively.6. Use DealerTrack or similar software to manage and track financial data.7. Collaborate with other department heads to develop budgets and financial plans.8. Analyze financial performance and forecast longer-term horizons.9. Ensure compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure filings are completed in a timely manner.Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CPA or MBA is highly desirable.2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.3. Proven experience managing an accounting team and working in a fast-paced environment.4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.5. Proficiency in DealerTrack or similar automotive accounting software.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to make critical business decisions.8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial professionals.9. High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.10.
