Location – Remote – Home BasedSalary – £45,000 - £50,000The CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Security Engineer to join a fast growing, solutions provider on a home-working basis.This is an opportunity for you to work with the latest in cutting-edge tech and gain invaluable experience with Next Gen Firewalls, Advanced Threat Protection and the latest in software defined networking including SD-WAN.The business is partnered with multiple, industry leading vendors and offers funded training and support for earning certifications that will be a long-term benefit for your career.Network Security Engineer Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Network Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with senior members of the Networks team to deliver the highest level of Networking and Infrastructure projects for the MSP’s clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Opportunity to gain exposure to presales, design, and deployment of network environments.BAU operational support for critical network environmentsCustomer consultation, and site to site implementationsSkills & Experience Required for the Network Engineer RoleAs Network Security Engineer you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software from some of the largest global vendors. The business does however ask that you have:CCNP Level knowledge. Whilst the certification is not required, experience working at that level is.A background in Cisco LAN, WLAN is a mustExperience working with the FortiGate, Palo Alto and other equivalent security vendors is a mustCommunication skills, including presentation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
