About the Role:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join Bloomreach! Join a high performance team that is focused on execution, results and providing valuable insights to business leaders. The work you do will impact all stakeholders: employees, customers, vendors, executive team and investors. Reporting into our Director of Accounting, you'll become a core part of the Accounting team.

Your job includes the following:

Leadership: Lead, mentor and influence a team of accounting professionals (staff, peers and managers; outsourced and shared services).Accounting operations: Full responsibility for daily accounting operations for assigned areas, including full end-to-end process cycle, accuracy of transactions recorded, review of journal entries and account reconciliations, and preparation management reports. Current responsibilities include:Invoice-to-pay: Establish global process, manage disbursements for US and India, manage key metrics. . Manage reimbursement of employee expenses, transactions on company credit card (Concur).Cash and cash management: prepare monthly forecast of cash requirements, manage and report actuals and variances.G&A, S&M: Analyze and review opex, prepaid and accruals for Sales and Marketing and General and Administrative accounts (including allocations).Sales Tax: Assist with sales tax related matters.Process Enhancements: Identify best practices and process improvements for core accounting functions. Lead implementation of automated process solutions with focus on simplification, standardization and optimization.Financial Reporting: Prepare trend and variance analysis for assigned GL accounts at entity and consolidated level. Prepare draft Financial Statements (GAAP and non-GAAP reconciliations), including Consolidated Balance sheet, Statement of Operations and Statement of Cash Flows.Technical Accounting: In collaboration with the Director of Accounting, perform technical accounting research and document accounting positions with supporting analysis.Financial Audit: Coordinate annual audits by Big 4 audit firms, addressing inquiries and schedule requests.Internal Controls: Identify risks, implement controls and ensure compliance of internal controls.Cross-functional collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with FP&A, IT, legal, procurement and business functions.Other: Prepare ad hoc analysis and schedules, support peers as needed, perform other duties assigned by your manager.

Your success story will be:

In 30 days, you will develop rapport with the team, gain knowledge of accounting systems and contribute to the monthly financial close.In 90 days, you will independently manage the US AP team, and ensure accounts payable and related accounts are reconciled timely with flux analysis to add value to the business.In 180 days, you will work with the team to shorten and improve the financial close process.

You have the following experience and qualities:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, and CPA5+ years progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years public accounting experienceSystems experience: NetSuite, Concur a plusAdvanced Excel skillsAttention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPassionate about driving continuous improvement to our processes and financial close

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.

Compensation:
