The overriding mission for Engineering Response Team (ERT) is to protect the work week schedule and address emergent issues to minimize the impact on engineering core business.Job Responsibilities

Mechanical ERT Engineer will provide technical expertise in design, development and installation support for various emergent and temporary modifications in the plant. ERT mechanical engineer will provide maintenance with simple trouble shooting support and lead complex troubleshooting activities with maintenance and operations support. Support maintenance and planning by resolving engineering technical issues within the work management process, this includes resolving work order holds assigned to engineering. Develop mechanical Technical Evaluations, repair plans, temporary leak repairs, freeze seal evaluations, bolting, torquing, and gasket evaluations. Support the corrective action, operability determination, adverse condition monitoring and operational decision making processes. Required to support outage engineering and participate in the Emergency Response Organization.The successful candidate will also perform other assigned duties as determined by the Hope Creek Emergent Response Team Branch Manager.The successful candidate will be responsible for balancing work time to accomplish assigned tasks.Job Specific Qualifications

MinimumBS Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering or related technical degree with 7 years performing Engineering work in a nuclear or related industry. Available for Shift Work during plant outages and generation challenges. Must meet Nuclear’s requirements for Unescorted Site Access.Nuclear Power Plant Engineering and/or equivalent experience Current or Previous SRO license/certificationMaster’s Degree (or) US Navy Nuclear experienceExperience managing projects and/or external vendorsMinimum Years of Experience
