Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a

Sr. Principal Quality Analyst

to join our Baltimore, Maryland location. We are a world-class manufacturer of large composite rocket structures for commercial and military applications. Our team supports plant-wide manufacturing improvements in a low volume, highly technical environment. These roles will be integral to plant wide continuous improvement efforts and audit compliance. Responsibilities may include the following:

Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.

Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Review, analyzes and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.

Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of quality work experience; or Master's degree and 8 years of quality work experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Demonstrated understanding of the non-conformance and corrective action process.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and Special Program Access (Be a US Citizen).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with composites or manufacturing environment.

6+ years of audit experience.

MRB experience.

Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Salary Range:

$104,900 - $157,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
