We're now seeking a talented and energetic Staffing Sales Business Development Resource to be part of our growing business development team in Chicago and Minneapolis, as we further develop our portfolio of solutions and services.

What will you do in this role?You will prospect to develop new and existing client relationships to win staffing projects: temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire/permanent opportunities in the areas of Software Development, Project Management, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies and more.

Prospecting skills are a must.

You must be comfortable with cold calling, networking and frequent outreach to new points of contact on a consistent basis. In addition to phone/digital outreach, you will attend client meetings and social events, as well as leverage your network to deepen ties with organizational leaders, hiring managers, and c-suite executives while serving as a consultative business partner.

You will work with our team of experienced technical recruiters to maintain awareness of available talent and marketable skill sets, while also keeping them informed on upcoming project/talent needs.

What experience will prepare you for success in this role?Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.Ideal candidates will have previous B2B sales experience in a business environment or direct sales in a service industry.Qualified candidates must have a successful sales record and be comfortable with cold-calling and consistently mining for client contacts.Candidates will have exposure to the Information Technology industry and should be versed in trending IT topics.Must have exceptional communication skills, professional image, upbeat personality and a strong desire to succeed.

Requirements2-4 years of experience in IT recruiting, staffing, and/or related business development or technology sales.Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.Detailed, organized, and adaptable.Economically motivated with high desire to grow professionally and financially.Nice to Have: Experience selling to County, City, State and/or Federal agencies.
