Senior Discovery Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly experienced Senior Discovery Attorney to lead and oversee eDiscovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and optimizing case outcomes through effective management of workflows and protocols.Duties:Collaborate with eMerge attorneys, technologists, case teams, and clients to develop and manage case-specific eDiscovery workflows and protocols.Oversee and ensure the quality of work and deliverables of eMerge Discovery Attorneys, Project Attorneys, technologists, and service providers.Advise and support case teams and clients on all discovery phases from preservation through production, including pre-litigation information governance and trial preparation.Maintain awareness of emerging eDiscovery technologies, practices, and legal standards to inform strategic decisions.Ensure compliance with eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in good standing in the state of New York.5-7 years of experience in eDiscovery within a law firm or corporate legal department.In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Experience with preservation, filtering, and export capabilities of corporate messaging and productivity solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).Proficiency with eDiscovery software, particularly Relativity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal and technical concepts effectively.Skills:Strong leadership and project management skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in eDiscovery or related field (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator).Company infoBCG Attorney Search125 Park Avenue, 25th floorNew YorkNew YorkUnited States 10017Phone :
