5+ years of experience in cost estimating with a construction focusDegree in a construction related disciplineProvide design stage cost planning, cost estimating and value engineeringCapable of Architectural and Structural quantity takeoffAbility to build Cost Reports/Estimates for review by othersA basic understanding of MEP systems and estimatingStrong computer skillset with ExcelEstimating experience with vertical construction / buildingsUnderstanding of basic construction estimating metricsWorked on both large and small commercial projectsExperience with basic change order requests and processesUnderstanding of local and national market pricingFamiliarity with quantity takeoff software (Cost-X and Bluebeam preferred)Experience with Microsoft PowerBi a bonusWhat you’ll be doing (and why you’ll love it)
