Job DescriptionWynn Resorts is looking for a Sr. Senior Data Security Engineer to join our core security team. You will join our multidisciplinary security team and work with other passionate professionals to build best-in-class data management applications. You will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, controls, and information lifecycle management, as well as optimizing data flow and collection to enhance the organization's data governance.Responsibilities:Ensure that infrastructure is secure via controls and documentationIn conjunction with the access management team, establish and manage effective identity and access management for all data sourcesCreate and maintain optimal and secure data pipeline architecture and methodologiesAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional security requirementsIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, extensibility, and securityBuild the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, commercial products and cloud technologiesBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipelines to provide actionable insights into data security and other key GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) metricsWork with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical and security issues and support their data needsMeet the necessary regulatory and jurisdictional requirements to keep our data separated and secure across national and international boundaries through multiple data centersAssist with GRC, mitigating risks and establishing controlsOther job duties as assigned

QualificationsAdvanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databasesExperience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data setsExperience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific security and regulatory questions and identify opportunities for improvementStrong analytic skillsSolid foundation in cloud data architecture and data warehousesBuild processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload managementExperience in Data Governance & Data Management policies, procedures, standards and methodologiesA successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasetsWorking knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data storesExperience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentWe are looking for a candidate with five (5) or more years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field. They should also have experience using the following software/tools:o Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases: Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflakeo Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, Databricks, etc.o Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, GoldenGate, Qlik,etc.o Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etco Experience with Data Security and identity management tools: Database Activity Monitor, IAM, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), etc.o Experience with Metadata Management: Data Lineage, Impact Analysis, Semantic Analysis, Classification and Taxonomy (Oracle Enterprise Metadata Manager, Alation, IBM)o Experience with Information Lifecycle Management: Records retention, classification, destructiono Experience with Data Management tools: OneTrust, Collibrao Familiarity with relevant data regulations: Gambling regulations, NIST, ISO27001, PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, GDPR and CCPA
