Senior Spring Boot / Microservices Developer
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Spring Boot / Microservices Developer with extensive experience in Java and API development to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the end-to-end development and testing of software products within an agile lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with key technical and business stakeholders to refine the product vision, estimate and design solutions, and ensure the quality and deployment of the final product.Responsibilities:Execute end-to-end development and testing of software products in an agile environment.Partner with key stakeholders to refine product vision and design solutions.Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.Implement Microservices architecture and ensure effective integration with frontend technologies such as ReactJS.Build and maintain data APIs adhering to Open API standards and REST API design specifications.Implement Microservices patterns including gateway, discovery, config, and sidecar services.Deploy applications using containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrate them using Rancher/Kubernetes.Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.Work with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.Perform manual and automated testing using tools like JUnit, Karate, and Cucumber.Contribute to the development of modern web applications using ReactJS.Support and maintain new software products in production environments.Required Skills/Experience:8+ years of experience in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.Proficiency in integrating Spring applications with frontend technologies like ReactJS.Experience with building data APIs and adhering to Open API standards.Strong knowledge of REST API design and tools like Swagger.Hands-on experience with Microservices patterns and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.Experience working with RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, and Blackduck.Proficiency in manual and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Karate, and Cucumber.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience.Preferred Skills/Experience:Advanced coding skills in Java, including experience with Version Control Systems and IDEs like Eclipse.Functional testing experience with the ability to create, maintain, and execute both manual and automated tests.DevOps skills including containers, cloud, automation, security, and configuration management.Strong communication and leadership skills.Expertise in application design and architecture.In-depth programming knowledge and IT/software quality assurance.Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.Open and collaborative communication style with the ability to work in ambiguity.Creative, flexible, and continually improving software development processes.Basic understanding of system and network architecture.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Ability to mentor junior team members in technical and business aspects.Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD solutions and analyzing features to deliver business solutions.Ability to follow policy requirements related to documentation and other processes.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant experience and explaining why they are a good fit for this role to
