Our engineers work to create technology that solves real-world problems in the crowdsourced delivery space. As a front end Software Engineer on the Internal Operations team, you’ll focus on production support and optimization of our existing internal technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment. Our ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver who is eager to learn and grow in their career.
What You’ll Do
Write clean, high-quality, maintainable, and performant codeLead a project to convert a medium-to-large Rails application UI to ReactCollaborate with Engineering, Product and Operations teams to improve performance of existing systemsWork in a fast-paced environment where we are frequently iterating to support the needs of our users, enhancing our apps and redefining feature roadmapsPlan and execute on short-term and long-term engineering goals individually and within the greater technology team
What You Bring
3-5 years of software development experienceStrong React coding skillsRuby on Rails coding skills preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication skillsAbility to work closely with UX designers and other internal stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies quicklyStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify and resolve application issuesExperience writing clean, stable and maintainable code in production environmentsA willingness to admit what you don’t know, and learn what you need to learn quickly
