Senior Cyber Security Engineer

As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our Cybersecurity Operations Protect squad. This team focuses on integrating and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Secrets Management technologies. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), your role will involve analyzing complex issues to streamline and automate secrets management, explore new functionalities, and prepare for successful Production implementation. Your role is instrumental in ensuring versatile, best-in-class security services for our enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Act as a primary contact for 4th and 5th level support, handling strategic and tactical issues related to IAM and Secrets Management technologies.
Collaborate closely with the Technology Risk Management division to prepare for new technologies or functionalities implementation into production. This may involve security playbook development, requirements gathering, process improvements, and technology orchestration.
Work in tandem with the React and Enable Squad Team to identify automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and enhance machine learning capabilities.
Maintain the current versions of functionalities and technologies in production through effective change management processes.
Participate proactively in Cyber Security Operations activities, which include training, audit preparation, playbook authoring, and ensuring accurate completion of business-as-usual activities.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a specific focus on IAM and Secrets Management for at least 5 years.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Expertise in one or more Secrets Management (Vault) tools such as HashiCorp, CyberArk, or any other secrets management tools in Linux and Cloud environments.
Experience with Terraform automation as Infrastructure as Code (IoC) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively present to senior leadership and prioritize stakeholder satisfaction.
Experience across multiple security technology domains (e.g., endpoint security, network security) is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve issues while maintaining professionalism and integrity creatively and effectively.
Certifications in IAM/Secrets capabilities and/or Cloud certifications are preferred.
Information Security Certifications are a plus but not a prerequisite.
