The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal defense law, be fluent in Spanish, and be a member of the Florida State Bar. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities
Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and feloniesConduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefsNegotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecutorsAttend court hearings and trials to advocate for clientsProvide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal processBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, judges, and other legal professionalsStay up-to-date with changes in criminal law and legal precedentsWork collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to provide the best possible legal representation to clientsQualifications
Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing1+ years of experience as a criminal defense attorneyFluent in Spanish, both written and verbal highly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage a high caseload and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and legal professionalsIf you are a passionate and dedicated criminal defense attorney with a strong desire to help clients navigate the legal system, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
