About the Middle Market Multiline Production Underwriter role:
Key responsibilities include underwriting and managing a book of business focused on GL, Auto, Umbrella, and potentially WC, driving new business and effectively marketing our services. You will maintain and grow profitability for individual accounts, handle renewals, risk selection, pricing, terms, endorsements, loss control, and audits, and foster strong relationships with agency partners and clients.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience; advanced designations (CPCU, CIC) preferred.
7+ years of experience in commercial lines sales and underwriting with a proven sales track record.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical expertise in commercial insurance sales and underwriting.
Proficiency in agency prospecting, planning, and performance accountability
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with the assigned territory and its competitors.
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
