As a Staff Software Engineer , you will help develop and run the Total Visibility data pipeline that ingests, correlates, aggregates and outputs millions of events. You’ll be part of a small, focused, team getting things done.
The ideal candidate has a track record of architecting and building end-to-end software solutions, enjoys working in a collaborative and agile environment, and brings innovative solutions to complex problems with a desire to improve the status quo.
What you’ll do:
Architect, design, build and integrate our core ad analytics products end to endLead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring the teamPartner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions, including API developmentManage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

BS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree8+ years of hands-on programming experience using Python, (preferred) Java, Scala2+ years of experience working with big-data stack, including Spark and KafkaExpert knowledge of Python and/or Java and (collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.)Experience with AWS tech stack, including but not limited to EMR, Athena, EKS, MSKExperience partnering with Product and other high level stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverablesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills

Prior experience in an external client and/or vendor facing roleExperience with managing, leading and/or mentoring a development teamExperience with big data and data pipelinesExperience in AdTech
New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $120,800 - $180,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
