Penn Mutual is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst for our Field Marketing & Communications team within the Independence Finance Network (IFN) to build reporting and optimize performance for Penn Mutual's expanding marketing efforts. You’ll be a member of a cross-functional marketing team, working alongside field marketers, communication managers, and creative services to drive data-driven decision making across the IFN. You’ll partner with the entire marketing team to build regular reporting, provide ad hoc analyses, and help turn data discoveries into insightful solutions. This role will report to the Director of Field Marketing & Communications.You'll have opportunities to shape the direction of your growth according to your skills, interests, and passions, as we expand the team and scale our ability to meet the needs of our field partners and the Field Marketing & Communications team.Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of data within marketing communication plans to help drive strategy, meet or exceed goals, and help with the overall evaluation of communication effectiveness.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.Build and maintain KPI reporting across all marketing channels, including metric dashboards and performance reports.Help develop and maintain a lead scoring program to assist IFN Marketing in their goals to provide leads to our field sales partners.Analyze trends in cost per acquisition metrics, campaign ROI, retention campaign efforts, and lifecycle journey metrics as needed.Build and maintain funnel reporting that supports the financial professional’s journey with Penn Mutual, from recruiting to onboarding, and the retention of existing financial professionals.Be the subject matter expert for marketing metrics and data sources.Be the point person for Google Analytics set up, adjustments, and reporting.Help execute and track performance of A/B tests and experimentation.Fulfill stakeholder requests and ad hoc analyses.Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Google Analytics.Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.The ability to independently make decisions.Excellent project management skills, able to prioritize and execute on multiple tactics and timelines.Strong knowledge of SEO principles and current digital marketing trends.Detail-oriented yet deadline-obsessed.Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.Required Experience

5-7 years experience in data analytics working within an agency or world-class marketing organization.Financial services industry strongly preferred. Life and/or annuity background is a plus.Experience with Google Analytics, specifically how to set up and adjust data that is collected.Experience with SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R.Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.).Experience with online advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) a plus.Experience with email automation platforms a plus.Education
