Responsibilities:
Writing and testing code to specifications and under the direction of management.Troubleshooting and debugging code.Developing and integrating APIs or RESTful services.Documenting software technical specifications, application design, and database design.Attending all sprint ceremonies and actively participating in an Agile team.
Required Qualifications:
Must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar area of study.At least four plus (4+) years of professional full stack development experience, with at least two plus (2+) years of experience with DevOps methods and practices.Proven ability to develop new applications using Java, JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js.Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as ReactJS, Express.js, jQuery, etc.Experience with deploying and managing logging and monitoring solutions supporting rapid deployments.AWS Native Cloud Development Experience:Serverless Architecture: AWS Lambda, AWS Lambda Extensions, API Gateway, AWS CloudFront, AWS WAF, AWS CloudWatch.Event-Driven Architecture: AWS EventBridge, Lambda Step Functions.Programming Languages: Java, Typescript, and Python are preferred.Experience with automating unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and acceptance testing for built applications.Experience in an AWS DevSecOps Culture + CI / CD best practices:Experience with Infrastructure as Code including Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience and comfort level with Pipeline Agile Development Automation Tools: Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Tekton Pipelines are all acceptable.Cloud Native Experience:Familiarity with containerizing applications and deploying them to a Kubernetes cluster.Experience with Cloud Native Computing Foundation landscape and heavily adopted tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, etc.
