The Financial Services division is looking to add a Senior Data Analyst to our data team. As a Sr Data Analyst you will be responsible for driving meaningful change across our business. By leveraging your expertise in ideating how trends in our data can inform business strategy, you will partner directly with website experience, paid media, business operations, and seo teams to maximize the value they can drive for our business. Our Sr Data Analysts proactively identify opportunities for applying business insights, advanced analytics, and data science techniques by becoming intimately familiar with both data and business goals. You will act as a data savvy consultant, creating insights, solving problems, building new solutions and making business and marketing recommendations.

This position can be based in our Charlotte, NC or New York City office on a hybrid schedule being in office Monday-Thursday.
What You'll Do
Provide strategic insights derived from digital marketing, web event and conversion data that drive marketing investment and customer experience decisionsBuild compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards that tell a story with dataUtilize statistics to inform testing strategies and probabilities to make informed business decisionsConduct hands-on advanced analytics using multiple data sources originating from different applications and systemsBuild relationships with business teams and data science teams to identify opportunities for deep analytics on customer behavior and site performanceBecome very familiar with our unique AdTech and MarTech stacks and the role of data with each of themWork with data science, data engineers, architects, and business teams to ensure analysis and visualizations scale efficientlyMentor more junior data analyst teammatesFind new opportunities and usages of data within our product ecosystem
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in complex business analysis, digital analysis, or marketing analysis roleBachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or other relevant degreesProficiency in visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BIExperience in building SQL queries across complex relational databaseDemonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate recommendations to leadershipStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of working well with business stakeholdersExperience with A/B testing frameworks, sampling methods and statistical analysis is a plusKnowledge of digital attribution and digital analytics is preferredStatistical programming knowledge (e.g., R or Python) is preferredStrong technical and data foundation that enables you to communicate effectively with data scientists, understand relevant algorithms, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Results-oriented. You can guide a team to focus on the activities that will drive the largest lift to targeted metricsAn entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and capable of coming up with data-driven ideas to create value for consumers and business partners
Compensation
Cash Compensation Range (CLT): $100k - 160k*Cash Compensation Range (NYC): $100k - 200k*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
