If you're a dedicated legal professional with 2-5 years of hands-on litigation experience and a passion for making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.Requirements and Qualifications:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive California State Bar License2-5 years of civil litigation experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including oral argument capabilitiesOutstanding time management and organizational abilitiesMeticulous attention to detailProficiency in computer skills and legal softwareWillingness to actively contribute to cases ranging from small to high-profile mattersPreferred Qualifications (Not Required):Background or familiarity with environmental lawKnowledge of bedrock environmental laws, such as CERCLABackground in geology or hydrogeologyExperience in trial, class action, toxic tort, and/or interactions with environmental regulatory agenciesAdministrative and managerial experienceDuties and Responsibilities:Effectively manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, deposition proceedings, and analysis of complex documentsDraft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings and intricate motionsConduct legal research to support case strategyAppear in court as requiredProvide guidance and mentorship to junior associates while collaborating closely with supervising partners
