We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for engineering to join our team!We are seeking a Full Time Quality Engineer - Software Configuration Management in Bridgeton, MO. This position is responsible for supporting Software quality during product development and implementation of improvements. They will develop, maintain, and deploy Software Quality Plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities. This position must be able to work independently and provide technical training and mentorship to lower-level engineers, technicians, and inspectors.Responsibilities

Responsible for Software quality system development and supporting product Software quality improvementsDevelop, maintain, and deploy Software quality plans & activities that translate customer requirements into planned activitiesProvide input into the existing Software CM processes and provide updates as neededInstill best practice methods, procedures, and controlsMaintain and perform versioning and baseline controlPerform internal and/or external PCA and FCA of baselined and released codeDocument CCB meeting minutes, when neededWork independently and provide technical training and mentorship to lower-level engineers, technicians, and inspectorsPerform analyses of program requirements and prepares responsive Software quality plans, procedures, schedules, and resource allocations to assure optimum quality supportReview and approve engineering, test and contractor documentation and provide input to assure that appropriate Software quality requirements are addressedProvide ongoing Software quality system support to include performing internal audits, ensuring implementation of peer reviews, adherence to Software Configuration Management processes, and root cause corrective actionsLead Software product quality improvement teams and participate in Failure Review BoardsProvide technical support for Software build and compilation, Test, and inspection of completed executablesReview technical documentation and specifications for completion and adherence to customer requirementsLead in resolving customer quality issues and driving root cause and corrective action on process and product quality issuesAssist in developing and deploying SPC initiativesCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer, as requiredLead and execute customer quality program requirementsSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate customer, business, or program meetingsDevelop and generate statistical reports on inspection activities and results, new product or process testing results and recommend action as requiredConsider financial impacts of Software quality process controls and inspectionsPrepare Software quality engineering reports and recommendationsProvide regular reporting of progress and statusCompletion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirementsMinimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experienceCompetent technical expertise and application domain knowledgeExperience with Compilers, SW Build tools, C++, Java, Python, or JenkinsExperience with Quality Standards (ISO, AS9100D)Experience with Quality tools (Six Sigma tools, statistics)Experience with Omnify/Empower or other PLM ToolsExperience with GitLab or other Software Version Control Tools, DOORSASQ certification desiredExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and writing skillsAbility to define problems and drive to root cause and effective corrective actionWork Schedule

Hybrid work schedule, must be in office Tuesday - Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are remote work daysFlexible 9/80 work schedule options$75,000 - $95,000 a year
