Responsibilities - Candidate will be responsible for determining, planning, and delegating tasks on major autonomy software developmental efforts for autonomous systems development. - Responsible for leading and guiding the development of autonomous systems software for teams of Group 4/5 UAS. - Work in consortium style settings with multiple contractor and government participants. - Demonstrate strong communications and collaboration skills and familiarity working in remote/distributed team environments. Qualifications - Must have 5-8 years experience. - Must be highly skilled in information technology and equipped with significant problem-solving and leadership abilities. Fluency in multiple programming languages is strongly desired. - Deep knowledge of software related topics such as database design, content management systems, and enterprise service bus architecture. - Demonstrate broad experience in software development for complex military systems, incorporating systems of systems integration and adaptation of novel approaches to existing military systems. - Familiar with simulation techniques and integration of software systems with government owned simulation environments, such as the Analysis Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) or the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE). - Knowledgeable with systems engineering practices, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML. - Ideal candidate has experience in the development of autonomy and/or software systems that interact with autonomy, and experience with integration and development of standards for interface of real-world systems, such as OMS/UCI, NATO STANAG standards, and MIL-STD interface specifications. - Bring experience with airworthiness, flight safety, and real-world military systems integration.
