Job DetailsJob LocationExell Brandon - Brandon, MSPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionExell Water Company is looking for a success driven leader who demonstrates exceptional data analytics.Job Summary: The Data Analyst and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team, managing inventory and performing various analytical tasks including collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights that support data-driven decision-making within the organization. The supervisor will be responsible for inventory management of all Exell products and will work with various data sources, tools, and techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that guide business strategies and operations. The Data Analyst and Inventory Supervisor will provide essential data analytics and ensure smooth operation of office functions while providing administrative support to the General Manager. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.Collecting and analyzing data to help the organization make informed decisions.Collect and acquire data from internal and external sources. This may involve databases, spreadsheets, APIs, web scraping, or other data extraction methods.Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Handle missing data and outliers appropriately.Responsible for inventory management such as verifying the warehouse inventory weekly and placing orders for all Exell products.Ensure that office team members continue to provide excellent service and intercept when problems arise. Apply statistical and analytical techniques to explore data sets, identify trends, correlations, and patterns, and extract actionable insights.Create clear and informative data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings and facilitate understanding for non-technical stakeholders.Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, summarizing key findings and insights to support decision-making processes.Maintain data repositories and ensure data integrity and security. Implement data governance and data quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including revenue manager, senior leadership, and department managers, to understand data requirements and address business challenges.Supervise the activities and performance of the office team.Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and data science.Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through data analysis.Physical Demands:Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods of time.Continually operate a computer and other electronic devices. Work Environment:Work is performed in an office environment.QualificationsQualifications:Valid driver's license and approved driving record.Bachelor's degree in related field (business, statistics, accounting, etc).Strong written communication skills and ability to interact with customers and managers.Strong skills in Microsoft excel program with knowledge of v look up, macros and formulas.Proficient with all Microsoft office programs.
