ServiceTitan is looking for a hands-on, business-oriented and experienced attorney to join our legal team as Senior Counsel, Product and Privacy to provide practical and clear legal advice to our research, engineering, and product teams in the development and release of our products and services. This position is critical to the success of our product management and engineering business partners as we navigate global laws and regulations including data privacy, data protection and AI.The Senior Counsel, Product and Privacy reports to our Deputy General Counsel, Product, Privacy and IP and will be part of a growing Global Legal Team. We are looking for a thoughtful, creative and collaborative individual, who will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and intellectually challenging work environment. While our headquarters are in Glendale, CA, this is a remote position.What You’ll Do:

Provide practical, strategic advice to the growth, engineering, product management, product marketing, data science, information security, marketing, sales enablement and support teams.Provide full product life-cycle counseling, from ideation to development to launch and provide continued legal support for ongoing operations.Create, maintain, and update comprehensive checklists and playbooks to support product development.Monitor new and emerging developments in applicable laws and work closely with product management, marketing, sales, security, and compliance teams to address impact on business practices and current and future product offerings.Develop and update privacy-related notices, policies, procedures, and guidelines.Lead cross-functional training on topics such as product due diligence, generative AI best practices, and data privacy.Advise the commercial team on transactions involving privacy issues, data sharing, biometrics, AI/ML, and related laws and regulations.Develop and implement a comprehensive playbook for responding to data requests and customer data migration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead our efforts in establishing policies and processes for data access controls.What You’ll Bring:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with membership in at least one U.S. state bar.7-10 years of combined law firm and in-house experience with at least 4+ years of in-house product and privacy experience counseling product management and engineering business partners at an innovative technology company.Demonstrated expertise in privacy and data protection issues, with a strong understanding of CCPA, VCDPA, CPA and other state privacy laws and GDPR.Experience developing and implementing playbooks, privacy notices, and policies.Technology industry experience working in a B2B SaaS Company. Experience working in a vertical SaaS company is a plus.Familiarity with digital technologies, data processing concepts, and information security requirements.Flexibility and excitement to help scale processes and build repeatability where there is none.Demonstrated ability as a results-oriented self-starter.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to pivot seamlessly in response to evolving organizational needs, showcasing a flexible and dynamic approach to duties and responsibilities.Experience successfully working in a highly collaborative manner and supporting a variety of business functions and cross-functional projects.Pragmatic and actionable approach to problem solving that includes practical and actionable advice to internal clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Be Human With Us:

We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $186,000 USD - $267,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
