The Material Operator I is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. The Material Operator will be responsible for the efficient of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.
Responsibilities:
Deliver raw materials to production lines as neededOperate with ERP system to balance raw materials.Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut downEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business ConductAdhere to all health and safety rules and proceduresComplete other duties and projects as assignedQualifications & Experience
Able to take continental shiftSAP, and ERP system skillsElectric Pallet Jack experienceInventory ControlHigh School Diploma or GED1-2 years of experience with production/material in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilitiesAble to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independentlyAttention to detail in all areas of work
