Java Developer @ Columbus, OH - Hybrid Onsite from Day OneW2 Hiring -

Must Have Tech:

Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API, Kafka or other messaging tools, NoSQL, Cassandra and Cockroach DB is a plus,

Roles and Responsibilities:

Executing creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDeveloping secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifying opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeading evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeading communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies and working with & mentoring an AGILE team composed of 6 to 8 software engineers and guiding them towards successDeveloping & delivering quality applications on-time according to requirements & roadmap commitments as well as sharing & teaching excellent software engineering best practices & principles (data structures, multithreading and algorithms)Writing & reviewing high quality code that will serve as an example for other engineers and reviewing & sharing areas of technical improvement within existing applicationsMaintaining technical knowledge & operational support models by documenting client applicationsCreating & maintaining the use of unit, integration.

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
