Research, Analytics, and Reporting ManagerLOCATION: Torrance, CA (100% onsite)DURATION: Direct HireRATE RANGE: $105,500 to $145,000/yearSUMMARY:The Research, Analytics, and Reporting Manager oversees the day-to-day management of research, analytics and reporting activities and requirements. The Research, Analytics, and Reporting Manager reports to the Director of Water-Use Efficiency and is responsible for supervising other employees. This position is located in Torrance, CA.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, overseeing training and development, and making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendationsAnalyzes data for budget analysis, preparation and forecastingProvides technical and administrative support in areas such as fiscal management, database management, general administration, and special projects and research requiring quantitative, analytical, geospatial and database skillsOversees all regulatory and required reporting to ensure complianceOversees the development and maintenance of data models, reporting systems, data automation, dashboards, and performance metrics to support key business decisionsOversees the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metricsManages and optimizes processes to ensure efficiency and data accuracyWrites, analyzes, and evaluates technical reports and publicationsOversees Water Resource Sustainability Department responsibilities related to GISOversees Water Loss Auditing and Control ProgramParticipates in the preparation of informational and presentation materialsParticipates in the development of training and safety programs to enhance the Water Resource Sustainability Department and ensure compliance with company policy and occupational safety regulationsPrepares Requests for Proposals and makes recommendations for contract servicesPlans and coordinates the work of consultants and other service providersAuthorizes purchase of equipment, materials, and suppliesReviews and approves invoices for paymentParticipates in General Rate Case processOversees the evaluation of programs and makes recommendations for improvementsAssists the Director of Water-Use Efficiency with short- and long-term departmental planningRepresents company at various state and local industry forums, and public hearingsDevelops and maintains effective working relationships with all those encountered in the course of workOperates a computer and office related equipment to fulfill job responsibilitiesParticipates in and supports the company's Continuous Improvement program and projectsOther duties may be assigned to fulfill business operational needs and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Water Resources, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field and/or equivalent relevant experienceThree years of relevant management experience or five years of experience as a senior or lead analystMust obtain and maintain AWWA Water Use Efficiency Practitioner, Grade 3 Certification within 24 months of hireCalifornia State Water Resources Control Board Grade D2 Water Distribution Certification, preferredQualified Water Efficient Landscaper or related certification preferredValid California Driver LicenseIND123
