PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVEThe PE+ mission is to use sports/fitness to build personal, healthy and meaningful connections that bring hope & healing so that the Peninsula thrives. Under the supervision of the PE+ Program Director, the PE+ Coordinator’s responsibilities include visiting sites and helping the site leader modify and expand an education plan that meets the needs of students and the PE+ program. The PE+ Coordinator’s primary objective is to support the PE+ leadership team so that the program continues to deliver service excellence through efficient processes and quality instruction as we serve the PE+ community’s school sites. The PE+ coordinator will also assist in developing recruitment and retention strategies for staffing, and assist in providing appropriate and effective training to the PE+ team.

PRINCIPLE WORKING RELATIONSHIPAssist the PE+ leadership team in overseeing the successful completion of projects and events, including PE+ staffing, and training. The duties include performing specialized tasks, assisting in managing a team of staff members and establishing relationships with vendors and other professionals.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PE+ Program Coordination

Assist in program’s staff recruitment, hiring and training to meet PCC and Center leadership development goals and human resource requirements. Assisting with training (in-person or video) to help develop our PE+ team.

Assist Program Director with PE+ Communication strategies.

Serve as an active and collaborative PE+ staff member.

Establish, maintain, and strengthen collaborative working relationships with other PE+/PCC staff. Assist in implementing continuous improvement processes for program communications for staff, members, partners, and communities. Assist in administering and enforcing PCC and Center policies and procedures.

Actively participate in organization-wide activities as required (i.e. staff retreats, team meetings, etc.). Fulfill other duties as assigned by the PE+Director.

PE+ Coordinator - DELIVERABLES (included but not limited to the following):

PE+

Maximize PE+ Program’ Time, People, Money, Quality; minimum & ideal.

Training Videos - Creating Content, Sharing and implementing new ideas.

Creating a timeline that helps the PE+ team to stay on track in regard to our deliverables.

Creating shareable links and/or training videos that are easily accessible for the PE+ Team to utilize and link to our PE+ Weekly.

Gather and provide feedback on a weekly basis from team members and school partners.

Clear and timely communication with PE+ Site Leaders(s).

Track the feedback received on a weekly basis and provide metrics to the Program Director during the PE+ campfire.

Track feedback from Site leaders regarding pictures and videos from schools.

Monthly newsletters that go out to our principals regarding what we are doing and use it as a tool to communicate with our schools.

PE+ Program Coordination

Assist in program’s staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training to meet PCC and Center leadership development goals and human resource requirements.

Conducting phone interviews.

Participating in group interviews.

Tracking applicants progress during the hiring process.

Providing timely feedback on hiring process to the PE+ Director to continue to make improvements.

Assisting in gathering onboarding materials.

Assisting with trainings (in-person or video).

Serve as an active and collaborative PE+ staff member

Participate in the lead team meetings, campfires and other meetings deemed relevant by the PE+ Program Director.

Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Conduct surveys with principals, teachers and stakeholders.

Subbing at sites on an as-needed basis.

Keeping track of and adding to inventory if and when needed.

Serve as marketing and social media guru for PE+.

Serve as director proxy if the PE+ director is out for any reason.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a school environment).

Computer-literate.

Able to collaborate with multiple individuals at varying levels.

Effective in written communication.

Able to establish effective working relationships with teachers and school administrators.

Creative.

A leader.

Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.

A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Ability to work weekends as required.
