The applicants for this position are expected to:Practice evidence based, high quality careTeach students in the clinical settingRepresent the Faculty Practice within UCSF and the surrounding communitiesMaintain an active dialogue with UCSF referring providers and within the UCSF Health communityBasic Qualifications:Successful completion of a DPT degree from an accredited DPT ProgramBe board-certified or board eligible in OrthopedicsCurrent CA State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of CA to practiceCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification requiredPreferred Qualifications:2-3 years clinical experienceOrthopedic outpatient experienceApplicants must meet all of the requirements by the time of hire. Applicants' materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The candidates may be asked to participate in teaching in DPT, Residency and/or PhD programming, and will instruct students in the Faculty Practice environments. This position initially is comprised of 95% patient care and 5% teaching. The faculty member is expected to participate in university governance, faculty meetings, departmental administrative meetings, quality assurance programs and continuing education.Academic rank and salary level will be based on the successful applicant's experience.
