7 plus years of experience in data and business analysis and around financial applications especially in Investment Accounting7 plus years of Data Management, Metadata and Data Quality experience7 plus years of experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Technology7 plus years with Production Support of Batched Software EnvironmentKnowledge of data structures, management and analysis techniquesKnowledge structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships and metadataKnowledge of database management system (DBMS) physical implementation, including tables, joins and SQL queryingAbility to combine data from multiple sources when needed for the analysisSuperior understanding of Financial Applications and their inter-workingsBachelors degree or equivalent work experienceManagement experience working in a fast paced IT environmentAbility to facilitate and lead technical discussionsStrong understanding of issue managementDoman knowledge of the Financial Services Industries and Retirement Plans a plusAbility to work effectively and accuratelyEffective organizational and interpersonal skillsExperience with PeopleSoft financials modules is a plusPreferable knowledge of Oracle TechnologiesPreferable experience in using ERWINDesired Skills (Preferred not required):

Lead the design and provide oversight of the End to End Data Flow and engagements with Business and Tech groups for the Finance and Actuarial OrganizationSupport the Data Delivery build-out and provide leadership and functional management to the Development and Support TeamLead the creation of Financial Data repositories to support the business for internal and external financial reportingIdentify Data Quality, business process gaps and improvement opportunities using data to build business value propositions and business casesConsult with Data Stewards to collect, publish business terms and business rulesEstablish knowledge transfer sessions and identify opportunities to expand the adoption of Data Governance, Data Quality and Metadata capabilities to the companyProvide advice and insight on improving data quality and metadata with the business and tech teamsAnalyze/Interpret data requirements and perform current/target/gap/impact analysisLiaison between Enterprise Data Management and Finance and Actuarial Data and Process Governance teamsArticulate business data needs, gaps, impact across all areas and proposals to close gapsIdentify data anomalies and communicate back to the data stewardsEnsure the traceability of individual data requirements and adherence to the defined requirementsIdentify/escalate and or manage conflicts, issues and changes in order to appropriately manage scopeAchieve consensus on scope changes and achieve signoff by all stakeholdersInvestigate, evaluate and support prioritization of client requests for new or existing solutionsManage risk associated with application development activities by proactively identifying potential impact to project and take appropriate actions to leverage or mitigate risk
