All our activities are structured to recognize and exceed the expectations of our customers.What will you enjoy doingThe Continuous Improvement Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with the vision of TransChicago Truck Group and Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) Elite Support. The CIC will maintain Elite Support and safety requirements through personal effectiveness, problem-solving, training, coaching, and change management. In addition to CI objectives, the CIC will also lead safety goals set forth by TransChicago Truck Group.What you need to succeed (Skills)Promote a culture of Elite Support Continuous Improvement and workplace safetyEnsure ongoing compliance with Elite Support criteria and safety initiatives and goalsPlan & lead Change Management Team meetingsFacilitate 5S projectsCreate process mapping and instructional layoutMeet monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirementsMaintain all Smartsheet material for internal and DTNA useMonitor and report operational metrics and KPIsLead safety team meetings and manage compliance trainingProvide forklift training to employees on a scheduled basisParticipate actively with DTNA networkAssist with new hire Elite Support and ARC training & orientationComplete special projects and other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
