Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with experienced medical leadership and support. As a pediatrician you will provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sport physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.We serve with empathy by listening to our patients.We serve with dignity while maintaining practice standards.We are partners in health, this is done by our commitment to building clinic integration with our partners within the community.Position DetailsPractice Locations: Wigwam ClinicWork schedule is 4/10sReasonable patient volume with a built-in referral systemMust be willing to cover more than one practice locationCall: Yes
Nursery Rounding: 1-3 days per week at the hospitalWeekend callNursery hospital call
RequirementsEligible for an unrestricted Nevada MD or DO licenseCurrent Nevada DEA certificate and Pharmacy license required prior to start dateBC or BE in Pediatrics (if Board Eligible must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must be obtained and maintained
