Job DescriptionAttend and actively engage in all IEP meetings as required.Perform assessments and evaluations for each student on the caseload to assess their needs for the academic year.Deliver diagnosis, treatment, and preventative services for speech and learning disabilities among students on the caseload.Collaborate with a team of educational professionals to develop customized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on the caseload.Requirements
Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborative teamwork.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.Dedication to upholding ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality.Completion of an accredited program for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants.Proficiency in speech and language development, disorders, and therapeutic techniques.Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related discipline.Possession of certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized accrediting institution.
