Oceanside Unified School District and our Speech and Language Pathology team are proud to offer a collaborative working environment to support our Speech and Language Pathologists in their work with our students.
The following are highlights of serving as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Oceanside Unified: -Monthly Speech and Language Pathologist department meetings. -Our Speech and Language department chair is a Speech and Language Pathologist within our district. -Funding is available for therapy materials and conferences. -Oceanside Unified School District accepts up to 11 years credit for working in a school setting or clinical/private setting with children. -Shared commitment from Oceanside Unified School District and the Oceanside Teachers Association to maintain reasonable district average caseloads for Speech and Language Pathologists.
JOB SUMMARY: Identify and assess individuals referred for a delay of speech (articulation, voice, fluency) or delay of language. Provide direct specialized instruction and consultation service to support students with communication disorders. Monitor student progress, provide information for, and participate in individualized educational programs (IEP's). Will provide early intervening services for non-identified students.
Requirements / Qualifications
