An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients. Dentists must have good organizational skills, collaborative skills, and will assist with supervising dental assistants and hygienists.Required QualificationsActive California Dental LicenseActive DEA certificationCurrent Radiology certificationDental Degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) from an accredited dental schoolPreferred QualificationsBilingual in English/SpanishResponsibilitiesProvide basic primary dental care including diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental careProvide patient referrals to specialists as appropriateFacilitate oral health education for patients both clinically and in outreach settingsConsult with patients physicians when appropriateMaintain legible, legal documentation in patient charts as directed by department policiesParticipate in continuing education to stay abreast on new techniques and procedures in the field of dentistryAccurately bill and document all encountersProvide guidance for dental assistants and front office staffPerform all duties assigned by the Dental DirectorProvide occasional coverage at other clinicsMaintain professionalism while in the workplace and interacting with patients and colleaguesAbout Provider HealthcareProvider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
