JOB DESCRIPTION
206 licensed beds pediatric hospital. Level I trauma center. Only pediatric ER in the regional area and serves more than 50,000 children annually.
Need six strong pediatric Emergency Room nurses. She/He should have at least 3 years' experience. These nurses must be able to work in a fast-paced high acuity emergency room. They must be able to care for the growing needs of mental health patients that are now common in most Emergency rooms. The nurse must also be available to work night shifts & 3p-3a or 7p-7a every other weekend and must be available to work a flexible schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work ExperienceMinimum two years current pediatric emergency room experienceExcellent critical thinking skills, communication and organizational skills and ability to remain current in knowledge of critical carePrevious Travel experience preferredEMR two years of experienceTelemetry experience requiredLicense/Registration/Certification
Active unencumbered Virginia RN LicenseACLS/BLS - American Heart AssociationPALS - American Heart AssociationEducation and Training
Associate Degree - Graduate of an Accredited School of NursingBSN preferredPhysical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
