Private practice seeks BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their teamCompetitive salary offered - to be discussed with employer directlyJoin 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 8 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 4 EP's, 4 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 11 Primary Care physicians, and a Vascular SurgeonIdeal candidate would be an established physician with experience and interest in adult cardiac, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive robotic techniques and the knowledge and interest to work on the arch. Recent and current fellows will also be consideredAbility to provide vascular services, TAVR and/or Endovascular a plus, but not requiredThe scope of practice currently includes all aspects of Adult Cardiac Surgery, On and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, an active TAVR program, arrhythmia surgery, as well as endovascular and open aortic surgery including dissection repair. A broad spectrum of thoracic surgical procedures are performed including minimally invasive lung resections, transhiatal esophagectomy, and complex anti-reflux proceduresHospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a structural heart program. They are also an accredited chest pain center with primary PCI & resuscitationPractice, ER, and hospital call - 1:4Practice is open Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pmCurrent schedule: 1 day per week in clinic and 4 days per week in the OR while managing inpatients dailyGroup serves as faculty to Florida State University College of Medicine and as preceptors in both Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programsFull benefits package offeredLocated 45 minutes from the Gulf, 2 hours from Gainesville & Panama City, and 2 1/2 hours from JacksonvilleInternational Airport in townNo visa sponsorship available
