Responsibilities:

Administer Anesthesia:
Act within the scope of practice, appended to this document.
•
Patient Assessment:
Provide patient assessment for the attending physician's review and selection of an anesthesia care plan.
•
Collaboration:
Work with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hospital staff daily to achieve the best outcomes.
Qualifications:
•
Education:
B.S.N. or Bachelor's degree in healthcare; CRNA Master's or Doctorate from an accredited educational program.
•
Experience:
1-2 years preferred; new graduates welcome.
•
Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed RN and APRN in Vermont; NBCRNA Certification.
•
Knowledge:
Requires understanding of medication safety and security.
Additional Information:

Reporting Relationships:
Report to Clinical Coordinator/Lead of Anesthesiology APP Practice and Business Director of Anesthesiology.
•
Freedom to Act:
Must act within the scope of practice.
•
OSHA Exposure & Working Environment:
