JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is a team-oriented group that has a strong pediatric liver transplant program. Our multidisciplinary pediatric liver transplant team consists of a pediatric transplant hepatologist, a pediatric hepatology nurse practitioner, transplant surgeons, a pediatric interventional radiologist, a pediatric dietician, a pediatric social worker (dedicated to solid organ transplant), a pediatric behavioral psychologist, transplant coordinators, pediatric liver transplant anesthesia, and infectious disease experts. Our pediatric hepatology team offers care through specialized liver transplant and pediatric hepatology outpatient clinics at the freestanding American Family Children\'s Hospital and pediatric hepatology outreach is provided to areas within Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Our pediatric liver transplant program is an active registry site for SPLIT with support from the UW Health Transplant Center. We also have Pediatric FibroScan at the American Family Children\'s Hospital. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions.
