Ability to diagnose and treat the whole range of glaucoma and general eye conditions and improve patient outcomesDemonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintainedReview patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order/interpret tests (visual field, OCT, biometry, etc.)Perform routine eye exams and treat eye diseases, such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and glaucomaLaser iridotomies, capsulotomies, and selective laser trabeculoplasties

Unrestricted NY licenseBE/BC in OphthalmologyActive DEA registrationMust possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enrollOne to three years of ophthalmology clinical experience in an outpatient setting
