is looking for a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities or delays in home and community settings. We have an amazing opportunity in which the SLP will assess the needs of the children and provide recommendations to the team, including the family.Our Infant Development Program utilizes a trans-disciplinary model, which involves a team approach between the consumer, family, and professionals from multiple disciplines, specifically Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy. Our program is designed to be individualized based on the specific needs of the consumer and the goal is to increase adaptive skills, decrease problem behaviors, and develop positive relationship between parent and child, thus increasing the whole family’s quality of life!

Requirements:Valid state license as a Speech Language PathologistMaster’s Degree2 years’ experience designing, implementing, and evaluating speech language pathology services2 years’ experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities or delays in home/community settingsDemonstrated excellence with written assessments and treatment plansStrong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with a teamAbility to pass fingerprinting and background check with no criminal recordValid driver’s license and proof of auto insuranceBilingual speaking (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese) a plusMorning availability preferredResponsibilities:Consult with each consumer as determined by the payor (e.g., regional center) ranging from one time per week to one time every 3 months.Conduct speech therapy assessments (DAYC and other assessments deemed necessary)Observe and assess each consumer’s skill level and areas of needCollaborate with child development specialists, early intervention supervisors, OT, family, and other professionalsProvide recommendations for individualized speech therapy programming and answer questions related to programParticipate in co-visits and provide training to child development specialists, early intervention supervisors, and family members in the recommended interventionsModel interventions and provide input on the intervention planUpdate and modify to speech therapy program(s)Attend team meetings and/or IFSP meetingsWrite brief summaries of consultation visitsEvaluate and track consumer progress toward goals and objectivesWrite SLP assessment and re-assessment reportsOther duties as assignedBenefits:Competitive payInitial and ongoing paid training and supervisionOpportunities for career advancementPerformance and promotion raisesPaid sick leavePaid mileagePaid drive timePaid professional liability insuranceAllowances for purchasing client reinforcers401K Plan with company match after 6 months of employmentAnniversary Bonus ProgramPlease visit our website at:
