Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Great Barrington, MA Position Type: 13-Week Contract Schedule: 3p-11p evening shifts, 32 hours per week guarantee Additional Details: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required No on-call responsibilities No more than 5 days of RTO accepted Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in Great Barrington, MA, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in respiratory therapy and be proficient in cross-training for cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include providing respiratory care, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate patient records using Meditech Expanse EMR. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive respiratory care, including application and monitoring of medical gases, mechanical ventilator support, and bronchopulmonary hygiene. Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and EEGs. Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans. Ensure high-quality care and patient safety. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an RRT. Ability to cross-train in the cardiovascular side of the department. Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC, PALS (AHA). Must possess a current Massachusetts State License (license must be in hand at upload). Strong technical skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
