Work Schedule and Shift PremiumsContingent / as needed / PRN2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour; 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour; weekend premium is an additional $1.00/hour, SB 690 pay while on skilled nursing is an additional $3.20/hourQualificationsGraduate of an accredited program in Respiratory TherapyCurrent CRT or RRT License in the State of MichiganBLS, ACLS, PALS, and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital if not currently certified)ResponsibilitiesVentilator/BIPAP managementPerform physical examination and diagnostic tests including EKG and ABG measuring lung capacity and blood acidity and alkalinityTreat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications and chest physiotherapyPerform pulmonary clearance procedures on patientsChart response and progress of therapies administered in electronic medical recordConsult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plansEducate patients on how to use equipment and medicationWhy Hillsdale HospitalHillsdale Hospital is dedicated to excellence in healthcare community service, continued improvement, and respect for human life.
