Sayre House is seeking a full time Clinician to join our team!
Sayre House is a psychiatric community home for girls ages 12-15, specializing in Trauma Focused Cognitive behavioral Therapy.
Our Clinician will become a part of our multidisciplinary team (Psychiatrist, Nurse, Residential Counselors) that provide an array of therapeutic services to individuals in our care. Small caseloads allow us to provide the highest quality of care, and a commitment to the professional growth and clinical development of our team members.
This position reports to our Clinical Director who can provide clinical supervision, while the agency at large offers monthly clinical rounds, and training to enhance and broaden learning opportunities and professional development. Primary Responsibilities
Complete Strengths and Needs, and Biopsychosocial (BSP) assessment (with new admission)Develop and implement safety/soothing plans with youth and familyDevelop and work with youth and family on a comprehensive treatment plan and discharge plan (with new discharge)Provide individual therapy, if applicableProvide group therapy, if applicableAttend treatment team meetingsThe five youth should receive Trauma Focused CBT, Structural Family Therapy, and Allied Therapeutic Leisure Pursuits
Requirements:
Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field and a license to practice independently in NJ including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD.
OR
Masters level therapist licensed to practice in NJ including LSW and LAC under the on-site supervision of a NJ independently licensed therapist with a documented plan to achieve clinical licensure within 3 years
Work Schedule: Flexible work schedule, 35 hours weekly
