Starting $40 per hour pending experience
Shift Times:
Full-Time, Part-Time
The
PTA -
provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Must be currently registered/licensed in the applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.Must be a graduate of an accredited 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy AssociationOne (1) year experience preferred in post-acute care or related setting preferredMust have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.Specific Job Requirements
Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriateMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mailLiaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needsMust demonstrate good body mechanics at all timesMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMust be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facilityMust have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentMust perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient care,, documentation and therapy software responsibilities, patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationMust understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance proceduresMedical specialties:
