Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) is the physician practice of Tampa General Hospital and includes physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in cardiology, endocrinology, geriatrics, hepatology, internal medicine, family practice, organ transplantation, pediatrics, and surgery.
With 17 current locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, our primary care offices offer the full spectrum of comprehensive medical care services for the entire family. This role will function in a hybrid capacity within the community, directly in assigned skilled nursing facilities as well as the clinic and other post-acute locations in the future.

Geriatrics - Skilled Nursing Facilities
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, delivers medical care to patients. Plans medical care, documents medical assessments, identifies and refers situations that require intervention. Formulates and communicates goals and plan of care, assuring patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
Seeking a BC/BE physician with Geriatric & Palliative training for this role. Preferred: at least two years experience with geriatric/palliative medicine patients and building palliative care programs.
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain license prior to start.
